How I Submitted the confirmation Statement for my UK Limited Company

Today I am going to share how I Submitted the confirmation Statement (Previously Annual Return) for my UK Company Inoryum Ltd

How I Submitted the confirmation Statement for my UK Limited Company

Before I start lets know a bit about what is confirmation statement, When to submit & what's the Govt. fees for the Confirmation statement.

What is confirmation Statement?

A confirmation statement (CS01) is a snapshot of general information about a company's directors, secretary (where one has been appointed), registered office address, shareholders, share capital and people with significant control. The Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act announced that the annual return has been replaced with the confirmation statement as of 30 June 2016.

Instead of filling out your company details as you would've previously done with the annual return, now with the confirmation statement, you'll just need to 'check and confirm' your company information.

If there are no changes to your company details since incorporation or the previously filed confirmation statement, you simply check and confirm the details on your next confirmation statement.

When do I need to file my Confirmation Statement?

The due date is usually 12 months after the incorporation of your company or the date you filed your last annual return, and then it should be filed at least once a year. You can check your due date at the Companies House Website

Confirmation Statement Due Date

Companies House will send you an email alert or a reminder letter to your company’s registered office when your confirmation statement is due. You can file your confirmation statement up to 14 days after the due date.

Companies House may start the process of striking off your company if your confirmation statement is late. Late penalty fines do not apply to an overdue confirmation statement.

Fees

To file your confirmation statement at the Companies House you need to pay a fee of £13. & if you choose not do it your self, there are lot of Registered Agents who can do it for you. & they will charge you an additional fee from £25-£50Including the Govt. fees.
